Bio

JindaLee grew up in rural Alberta, Canada.  She lived in Montreal, Japan, and Toronto before moving to Berlin.  JindaLee has released four full length albums.  The first, Strangers’ Lives was recorded in Montreal. Her second album, Rise and Drift was recorded in Toronto and released in 2014.  Wild Spectrum, released 2016, is a personal reach into the colourful spectrum of experiences and emotions that can be both challenging and beautiful in the same moment. It was recorded with her full band live off the floor in Toronto.  She has toured extensively in North America, Europe and Japan and has been playing and touring, both solo and with a band, for over a decade.

JindaLee released her fourth full length album, VELA. It is a self produced, solo electronic album.  The album is a dive into the human experience with nature. It is about using all your senses to experience the world around you. The songs are meant to replicate the feeling of being in the sea, floating on the surface of water and feeling the air in your lungs.  Vela was written, recorded, produced and mixed by JindaLee.

On August 22, 2025, she released the first single to an Upcoming EP entitled PATHWAYS UNFURL. The first in a three track EP, delving into a more hypnotic techno sound, while still staying true to her dreamy vocal and lyrical roots. “Pathways” is a deep, evolving song, like a journey — the feeling of reaching a junction point where two paths divide. The track unfolds like a path walked in real time —mimicking a constant forward motion, never lingering too long on one sonic experience. As if navigating life’s unknown thresholds as they are approached— moments of uncertainty, searching, and inner reckoning. There is dissonance and rhythm. I wanted to capture the tension of a journey into the inner shadow and the quiet hope, a shifting light, found on the other side.
